About Me

Let me telI you something about myself: My name is Sandra, and I have a passion for languages and I love traveling, exploring new places, and meeting new people. When I was young I always found myself fascinated by the new language of the country we visited on family holidays. During high school, I studied several languages including English, German, French, Latin, and Greek. Later on, during my studies at university, I studied Russian and Russian literature. Over time, I began to learn and delve into other languages. The experience of learning languages myself has helped me to be a better teacher and to experience what works and doesn’t work for the student as well as for me as a teacher. I know from experience that it’s very important to feel comfortable and safe in order to start speaking a different language. Besides this, learning should be fun. I’m a qualified and certified Dutch Teacher and have over 10 years of experience, have taught people from all over the world.

Besides language and teaching, psychology is a big passion of mine. I’m genuinely interested in people; who they are and why they do what they do. That’s why I have always worked with people; both adults and kids, in different settings. Personal development is very important to me and I love learning and keep developing myself. Because I also wanted to help other people develop themselves and improve their lives, I’ve taken several courses in coaching and coaching trainings, and am a certified Career Coach, Lifecoach, and Kid’s Coach.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, going for walks, yoga, (arthouse) movies and documentaries, museums, picnics, and attending world festivals.

Looking forward to meeting you!
